日付も変わりまして、2020年もあと４日！
とりあえず、年越すまではこのカウントダウン続けていこうと思います～。
このブログ読みながら2020年を振り返るきっかけにしていただけると幸いです。
さてさて、今回もちょっと2020年を振り返ってみようと思います。
（早く本題いけよっ。って思っている方すみません。。もう少しお付き合いください。。）
では今回は～～～、
"今年一番ツラかったこと"ランキング～～～！
パチパチパチパチ～～！
ちょっとコロナで精神的に辛い時期はずっと続いてたんで、
”身体的に” ツラかったことに絞ろうと思います！
ではっ、第３位！
3月上旬 in フィリピンでの腹痛祭り・・・！
あぁ。。これはしんどかった。。。
１月４日からフィリピンに留学に行っていたんですが、ずっと体調がすこぶるよく、余裕をぶっこいていた矢先の腹痛祭りでしたね。。。
まぁ、深掘りはしません。。笑
続いて、第２位！
３月下旬 in フィリピンでの地獄の車内・・・！
またまたフィリピンネタになってしまうんですが、これも本っっっ当にキツかった。。
わたし、フィリピンでコロナが絶賛流行中の３月下旬に帰国することになっていたのですが、そのころ、街にはバス、タクシー、ジプニーといった公共交通機関がすべてストップしていました。（電車はもともと走っていない）
しかし、わたしの学校からマニラ空港までは車で６時間くらいの距離。
どうすんねん、これ。。。って状況で選べる選択肢は個人で営業しているバンを運転手付きで手配するのみ。。。
費用はめちゃめちゃ足元見られて１台20,000ペソ。（約40,000円）
た、高すぎる・・・。
ちなみにタクシーの初乗り45ペソ（90円）ですよ。。。
どんだけぼったくんねん。。。っと怒りがこみ上げつつも
仕方がないのでみんなで割り勘して調達。
そして、、、その車内が、、もう地獄・・・。
山道をめちゃくちゃ荒い運転されて、開始5分で吐き気と頭痛が収まらず、本当に死ぬかと思いました。。。
まぁ、こんな経験なかなかないので、貴重な経験ができたと思っておきます。。。
そして栄えある第一位は・・・

では、本題に戻りまして。。（遅くなりまして大変申し訳ないです。。）
今回のテーマは「Japanese cuisine（日本料理）」！
おぉ～～～。
日本の文化系のやつ！
英語勉強する中でこの手の類は何回も出会ってきたんで正直ネタには困りませんでした☆
1時間半くらいで書き終えました！
では、早速中身を見ていきま～～SHOW！
Part１
1. What is your idea about the word “cuisine “?
（"cuisine（料理）"と聞いて思いつく考えはなんですか？）
I come up with these ideas such as foods, dishes, and restaurants. They are all related to food. I have seen “cuisine” on the menu at the restaurant.
2. When people say “Japanese cuisine“ what do you think will they say?
（人々が「日本料理」と言うとき、彼らは何を言うと思いますか？）
I guess they will say some Japanese traditional foods such as sushi, tempura, and okonomiyaki, etc. They are popular as Japanese food. In my opinion, sushi is the most suitable for it because I imagine raw fish as a popular Japanese food.
3. How will you describe Japanese cuisine in 3 words?
（日本料理を3語で表現するとしたら、どのように表現しますか？）
Delicious, expensive, complicated. Lots of tourists come to Japan from other countries to eat authentic Japanese foods. A good reputation of it has been well known all over the world. However, they are sometimes more expensive than foreign foods. Besides, it is too difficult to cook them on our own.
4. Can you say that Japanese cuisine is popular? Yes or No? Why or Why Not?

Yes, of course. I know many foreign friends who are big fans of it. Also, I saw a lot of Japanese restaurants in the Philippines while staying there. There were many guests even though the prices of Japanese dishes were expensive.
5. What makes Japanese cuisine special?
（何が日本料理を特別なものにしていますか？）
The appearance makes it special. As I said earlier, Japanese cuisine is complicated. The chefs are prone to be proud of the appearance of dishes. They look not only appetizing but also beautiful. I think it is one of the reasons why so many people love it.
Part２
Describe the most popular food in Japanese cuisine for you.
（あなたにとって最も人気だと思う日本料理について説明してください。）
I think the most popular Japanese food is okonomiyaki. We need some flour, half of the cabbage, an egg, some water, some pork slices as the ingredients. Besides, we need some specialized sauce, mayonnaise, and dried bonito as the toppings. It is easy to cook. Firstly, mix all of the ingredients except for pork slices. Secondly, bake it and put some pork slices on it. Wait for five minutes. Thirdly, turn over it, and wait for five minutes again. Then, it put on a dish and put the toppings on it. Okonomiyaki is well-known as the best in Osaka which is located in the Western part of Japan. It looks very appetizing and smells great. Besides, there are various kinds of ingredients and toppings. People can cook as they want. To sum up, I think it is popular because it is easy to cook, we can customize it, and the appearance and the smell are pretty good.

1. Do you think that Japanese cuisine is very well-established?
（日本料理はすごく定着していると思いますか？）
Yes, I think so. Now it is very famous and popular. There are a bunch of Japanese restaurants all over the world. It is recognized as one of the Japanese cultures. Many foreigners are interested in it. They tend to learn how to cook it in Japan.
2. Do you think that Japan never and would never adapt foreign influence/s to its food?
（日本は今後も含め日本料理に海外の影響を及ぼさせないと思いますか？）
I never think so. Japanese food has changed depending on the times. For example, I ate westernized okonomiyaki in Osaka. It looks like a pizza. It included some tomatoes as an ingredient. Besides, some of the cheese is put on it. I think Japanese cuisine has been influenced by foreign foods. In other words, it can evolve thanks to that.
3. There is a proverb that says, "I am not making sushi. I am making an art." Do you agree?
（このような格言があります。「わたしは寿司を作っているのではない、芸術を作っているのだ。」あなたはこれに賛成ですか？）
I cannot agree with and understand that. We cook to eat, not to see. I admit the appearance of the food is important. However, we cannot figure out the best point of the food before eating it. We feel delighted the most when eating because food is to eat.

わたしの周りだけかもしれなんですけど、海外の方から日本料理ってすっごく好まれるんですよね。
「日本料理を楽しみに日本に来た！」って外国の方もたくさん見てきました。
嬉しいですよね。この食文化をこれからも受け継いでいきたいですね。
